Meet Ty Pleas

Hi, I’m Ty. If you have reached this page, I'm thankful. To me, it means that all of my days and nights of hard work weren't in vain. I'm just a small town boy from Virginia. I would be lying if I told that as a child I imagined working alongside major brands like Rockport and Lululemon; or that my work would be published in New York Magazine, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Miami Times and the Los Angeles Times to name a few. However, what I have always known is that I’d somehow find a way to experience the world and the beautiful people that inhabit it.

While I enjoy several genres of photography, my personal favorite is commercial photography. There is just something about showcasing amazing products and services that ignites me! No two brands are the same; so everyday at work is an exciting adventure blossoming with opportunities to be better than I was yesterday. I go to great lengths to make sure my clients enjoy the experience as much as I do. I have been a photographer for over 12 years and I have yet to come across a session that I could not learn something from. Whether it’s capturing images for brands like Free People, or some interactive content for a Mom and Pop shop, I passionately give 100% every go round. Today, at any given moment, there’s a camera within reach. If you were just looking for any ol content, you wouldn’t be here. You’re here, because you want content that speaks…and when I pick up my camera and point it at your brand, that’s the only type of content I’m interested in taking.
